My Why: Welcome to Wake Up to His Word

Where quiet mornings meet a growing faith. This space was born out of something deeply personal. I’m just beginning this journey of faith — and to be honest, I don’t have it all figured out. But one thing has changed everything for me: reading my Bible first thing in the morning.

For years, I struggled with purpose. I often wondered why I was here, what I was meant to do. But when I began starting my days with God’s Word, something inside me shifted. I found clarity. Peace. A sense of direction I hadn’t felt before.

And slowly, I realized — this quiet, consistent practice was doing something bigger in me: it was giving me purpose.

Why Wake Up to His Word

This space exists not because I have all the answers…
but because I believe God speaks through His Word — even to the most unlikely hearts. Especially to those of us who feel unequipped, unsure, or new to the journey.

Yes, there are many devotional blogs and podcasts out there.
But this one?
This is proof of God’s purpose in my life.
A small leap of faith.
A step out of my comfort zone.
And my way of trusting that if God planted this desire in me, He will guide me as I go.

If You’re Here, You’re Welcome

My hope is that what God is teaching me in the quiet moments will encourage your faith too.

So if you’re here, welcome.
Let’s wake up to His Word — together.

Rooted in truth, flourishing in faith — in every season.

With Love and Grace,

Lisney
